A child custody exchange turned physical in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 749 Seltzer Road, in Norwegian Township.

Troopers said Felicia Clark, 24, of Minersville, and Gerald Clark, 34, of the stated address, were involved in the exchange when they got into a verbal argument.

The argument turned physical when Gerald Clark allegedly pushed Felicia Clark out the front door of the home and down the front steps.

A child custody dispute led the charges being filed against the two involved.

State police at Lehighton said Donna Barbra Lamberty, of Palmerton, and Cassie Marie Lamberty, of 4600 Memorial Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe Coutny, got into a verbal and physical altercation over child custody issues as the Polk Township address, troopers said. The incident occurred about 7:20 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15.

Both were issued citations for harassment.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways, both occurring on Thursday, Aug. 18.

A crash occurred about 7:03 a.m. along SR443 in Pine Grove Township. Troopers said Amie T. Kimmel, 26, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty westbound when she said an older model car swerved into her lane of travel. She swerved her vehicle to avoid a collision, went onto the south berm and back onto the road losing control.

State police at Lehighton are investigating two reported incidents of identity theft.

Jeanne Marie Quinn, 130 Ruby Court, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported someone used her Social Security number at Wallace Newman Construction, 244 Hunter Lane, Charlotte, N.C., about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Sharon Kendig, of 170 Clear View Drive, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone opened an American Express credit card in her name and made fraudulent purchases.

The incident was reported on Aug. 12.

State police at Lehighton reported on several theft incidents being investigated by troopers.

Donna Marie McConnell, 36, of 167 Weir Mountain Rd., in Kunkletown, Monroe County, reported her 1991 Yamaha Blaster all terrain vehicle (ATV) was stolen from her residence sometime between Aug. 15 and 17.

State police at Lehighton said two Carbon County residents have been cited for disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred about 10:09 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, in Weissport.

Troopers were on patrol in the borough when they heard yelling in the area of the Weissport House, 201 Bridge St.

Upon arrvial the situation had already been resolved and the two parties were walking in separate directions.

It was determined that the two were intoxicated and had a verbal argument which led to a physical fight outside the bar in a public street.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ana Safarov, of Albrightsville, Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, has been cited for false alarms.

Troopers allege that Safarov permitted four or more false alarm activations during a consecutive 12 month period, September 2010 to August 2011.

Lehighton police reported on the arrest of several persons following incidents in the borough.

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, about 6:30 p.m. Richard E. Hartranft, 46, of 101 Lehigh Drive, Lehighton, was cited for public drunkenness after causing a disturbance at the Blue Mountain Health Systems Gnaden Huetten Campus.

Several arrests occurred on Saturday, Aug. 13.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 9:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, along SR183, a quarter-mile north of Schuylkill Mountain Road, in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Daphne Fridirici, 20, of Schuylkill Haven, was northbound and going up a hill while negotiating a left curve. Daniel Foose, 57, also of Schuylkill Haven, was southbound and going down the hill. Troopers said Fridirici lost control of her 1996 BMW, which began to spin counter-clockwise into Foose's lane of travel.

Lehighton police reported on the following arrests made by officers this week.

Police said Mark S. Gingles, 47, of 102 Bridge St., Apt. B, Lehighton, was cited for disorderly conduct on Tuesday, Aug. 16, about 10:27 p.m. after causing a disturbance by yelling profanities outside his home.
