A 14-year-old male juvenile was cited by Slatington police following an incident that was reported on Sept. 8 about 6:30 p.m.

Police said they received a report that the juvenile cited had struck an 11-year-old male with a hockey stick in the head and stomach. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Main St.

Police said the 14-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct.

A Parryville farmer is satisfied with the clean up of his property.

Early last Friday morning Richard Fedor of Parryville found a dump truck load of roofing materials, nails, food wrappers and drink bottles that were dumped on this property.

On Saturday morning, the problem was rectified.

Fedor had gleaned information about the person/persons who had dumped the materials from going through the material he said that the situation was remedied.

"I'm just glad that it's gone," said Fedor.

A teen driver sustained a minor injury in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 7:05 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, along Reservoir Rd., about a half-mile west of SR4033, in Union Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said a 16-year-old juvenile form Ringtown was driving a 2000 Cheverolet Impala eastbound and rounding a left curve when the car went onto the berm. The car continued along the berm for about 50-feet through a grass area and then struck a tree with the right front end, where it came to rest against the tree.

A Philadelphia woman has been arrested for bringing illegal drugs to a state prison in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville arrested Bridget Landy, 20, at the State Correctional Institution at Mahanoy, Mahanoy Township, on Monday, Sept. 13, about 12:35 p.m. Troopers said Landy was in a vehicle as a visitor and upon entering the prison property she consented to a search of her vehicle.

Found in the car was suspected marijuana. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A motorcycle and a deer collided during the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Neal Dacquisto, 45, of Ringtown, was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson FDX1 northbound on SR4033 in Union Township about 2:10 a.m. when a deer entered the road in front of him. Dacquisto laid the bike down on its left side and struck the deer. After impact the bike skidded off the road to the right.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a cellular phone at a truck stop in Schuylkill County.

Melissa Neidlinger, of Pine Grove, reported someone removed her cell phone that had been left outside on a milk crate at the Raceway Truck Stop along Molllystown Road (SR443), in Tremont Township. Troopers believe a truck driver took the phone and left with it in his rig. The incident occurred sometime between 11 and 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 2.

State police at Lehighton reported on several arrests made by troopers recently.

A student at Palmerton Area High School, Fireline Rd., in Lower Towamensing Township, was arrested for harassment following an incident that occurred about 7:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. A 16-year-old from Kunkletown was charged with shoving another 16-year-old from Palmerton, into a wall at the school causing the victim to suffer an abrasion to his left arm. The teen issued a citation and released.

A complaint of an unwanted person at the Pine Street Pub in Tamaqua early Sunday morning resulted in citations being issued to two Drums residents.

Officers were dispatched to the bar ar 1:30 a.m. to deal with a male who allegedly refused to leave the premises. At the scene officers observed two females and one male in the street outside of the pub, all engaged in a verbal confrontation.

State police at Lehighton are investigating two reported access device fraud incidents.

Roger Lee Berger, 39, of Forest Inn Rd., Lehighton, reported someone placed an internet order on his credit card without his permission making a purchase of $202.28. The incident occurred about noon on Aug. 2.

A 70-year-old female from Leisure Drive, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone used her credit card to make an unauthorized purchase. The incident occurred Sept. 4. The victim reported the incident to her credit card company, troopers said.
