State police at Lehighton reported on several crashes investigated by troopers in recent days in which one driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

A police log report published on Wednesday contained an error concerning the charges filed against Richard Edward Michlovsky, 48, of 261 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua.

Michlovsky was cited for harassment, not harassment by communications, after police investigated a complaint filed by Eric Hardy of Lansford.

A Tamaqua teen has been cited following an after school incident that happened last week.

Tamaqua police received a report from Tamaqua Senior High School Assistant Principal Stephen Toth on Sept. 14 concerning an incident that took place on Sept. 10. According to the report, a 16 year old male student was walking home from school when he was assaulted by Jason Hahn, 18, of 8 Cherry St., Tamaqua. Hahn admitted pushing the other student after the younger male allegedly shouted obscenities and insults at him.

Hahn was cited for disorderly conduct.

A Tamaqua man was arrested Tuesday evening after being observed in a visibly intoxicated state on Spruce Street.

Sgt. Richard Weaver was on patrol at 8:20 p.m. when he observed Anthony Louis Kehl, 40, of 112 1/2 Orwigsburg St., sitting on a stone wall at the Tamaqua Family Practice, Spruce and Railroad streets. Kehl was swaying back and forth on the wall, then slid onto the sidewalk. Weaver highlighted Kehl in the police cruiser's headlights but Kehl didn't seem to notice.

A Monroe County teen was arrested recently following a domestic incident involving a handgun.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 733 Edgewood Drive in Tobyhanna about 5:49 p.m. on Sept. 9 to a domestic incident involving a gun. On scene officers found the victim, James Lamb, 58. The investigation revealed a 17-year-old male had fled the scene into nearby woods. Police used K-9 Niko to locate the teen in the woods and take him into custody. Also found in the woods was a handgun. No shots were fired, police said.

A Carbon County business has been cited by the state liquor control board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office with violating the state liquor code.

Green Isle Enterprises Inc., doing business as Second Time Around, 161 S. First St., Lehighton, was cited for possession or operating gambling devices or paraphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, poolselling and/or bookmaking on licensed premises.

A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 11:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, along Weilers Road at Creamery Road, in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Peter Fabry 41, of 400 block of Arrowhead Lane, Breinigsville, was stopped for speeding. During the stop Fabry exhibited signs of intoxication and was arrested for DUI, troopers said.

A Monroe County business has been cited by the state liquor control board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office.

Pinecrest Lake Club, dba, Wild Pines Golf Club, Box 760, Tobyhanna, has been cited for violation of the code by the licensed corporation.

The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.

In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.

State police at Lehighton reported on three driving under the influence (DUI) arrests that are pending.

On Sept. 5 about 1:31 a.m. troopers stopped a vehicle along Canal St., in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for several traffic violations. The driver was identified as Melissa Gressler, 38, of Lehighton. She was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test. Charges will be filed, troopers said.

State police at Lehighton reported that two stolen vehicles have been recovered.

Troopers said a Yamaha all terrain vehicle (ATV) of Kirk Boisselle, Pen Argyl, was discovered in a wooded area off Mountain Rd., in Ross Township, Monroe County. The ATV was found about 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 4. It was prevously reported missing.
