State police at the Fogelsville reported a Lehigh County business has been cited for disorderly conduct as a result of repeated false alarms.

Police said the last incident happened at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 4 at TD Bank, 5980 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township.

The citation was issued, police said, because the bank had multiple false alarms take place within a 12-month period.

Three individuals were charged following an incident that occurred in Summit Hill on Aug. 28, at 11:17 p.m.

According to Summit Hill police, officers received a call for a disturbance in the 300 block of East Ludlow Street.

When they arrived they observed a number of individuals fighting with people who lived in the area.

Jonathan Moran, 19, of 326 E. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, was charged with disorderly conduct; a 17-year-old Lansford male was charged with disorderly conduct; and a 17-year-old Lansford female was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Bradley Kerr, 21, of Lehighton, escaped injury in a crash Dec. 26 at 4 p.m. on the Little Gap Highway in lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was driving a 2001 Ford Expedition that crashed in the area of 2955 Little Gap Road. Police said he was westbound on a slushy/icy roadway during a snowstorm when he lost control of the Expedition and it veered into the eastbound lane. The vehicle went off the southern shoulder of the road and struck a PPL pole, then continued to spin and strike a mailbox.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Dylan P. Biter, 18, of Bethany, Conn., was uninjured when he fell asleep while driving a 2000 Subaru Forrester on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township on Dec. 18 at 5:45 a.m.

Police said he was northbound in the area of mile marker 131.9 in the township and was in the left lane of travel when he fell asleep. The vehicle traveled into the median, went down the ditch and impacted several trees.

Two passengers, Andrew Handverger, 20, of Framingham, Mass., and Nicole E. Testa, 19, of Coventry, R.I., were also uninjured.

Two Albrightsville men were arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks after a vehicle stop at 8 p.m., Dec. 24 at the intersection of State Route 903 and Church Road in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Jonathan Edgar Montalvo, 22, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while a passenger, Joseph Pepe, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests came after police stopped the vehicle for an equipment violation.

Javid Banez, 25, of Blakeslee, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. on State Route 115, near Russell Court, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said he was southbound in a 2007 Pontiac G6 when he lost control of the vehicle after is slid on an ice patch. The car traveled off the southbound shoulder of Rt. 115 and struck a ditch. It then went across the northbound lane of the highway and came to rest on the northbound shoulder facing south.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

The Reading Anthracite Company was the victim of two theft incidents at different locations in Schuylkill County between afternoon hours of Dec. 22 and the morning hours of Dec. 23, state police at the Frackville barracks said.

Police said the company's St. Nick's Coal Breaker in New Castle Township was the scene of one theft after someone stole about 700 feet of copper wire and copper banding from the property.

The other theft happened at property owned by the company in Foster Township after someone took about 650 feet of 1 wire and two 30-amp, 240-volt plugs.

State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating the theft of an ATV from a barn in Schuylkill County.

Police did not identify the victim, but said the vehicle, valued at$3,500, was taken from the barn at a rural residence about two miles east of New Ringgold in East Brunswick Township.

The theft occurred between Dec. 20-23.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 4 p.m. Dec. 25 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 26 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said someone damaged a driver's side rear window on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee that had been parked at 6691 Hillside Drive in the township. The owner was not identified by police.

The theft of a Ruger semi-automatic handgun from the bedroom of a Lower Macungie Township home is being investigated by state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

The victim is Jesse Ryan Hoffman, 35, of 1755 Brookside Road.

He told police someone took the gun between 8 p.m. Dec. 17 and 11:30 p.m. Dec. 21.

The handgun is silver in color with a matte finish on it.
