State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County boat club.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the Auburn Boat Club located at the Landingville Dam, in South Manheim Township, on June 26, between 8 and 11 p.m.

According to troopers unknown criminals arrived at the public docking entrance to the dam in a late 1990s model Ford 150 pickup truck, white in color. Two white males and females exited the truck and placed a 12-foot row boat in the dam. They they rowed across the dam to the boat club.

State police at Frackville are investigating several burglaries that occurred at Schuylkill County locations.

Troopers said a property at 4 (rear) Fourth St., Kelayers, Kline Township, was entered sometime between 10 p.m. June 29 and 6 a.m. June 30. Taken was a HP desktop computer model Pavilion Slimline 5310; HP 18.5 inch flatpanel LCD computer display monitor; and a HP Photosmart model C4700 all-in-one printer/scanner/fax. The property is owned by Matthew Corra, 41, and Kelee Richard, 39, of Kelayres.

A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Saturday following a knife-pointing and threat incident. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 9:24 p.m. at 345 E. Colliery Ave., in Tower City.

Troopers said Nichole Koons, 28, of Tower City, approached the apartment door of Darryl Dorsey, 46, to check on him because she was told he was causing a disturbance. Once the victim was about two feet from the door Dorsey swung the door open and pointed a knife at Koons.

A Schuylkill County man was jailed over the weekend for aggravated assault and related offenses.

State police at Frackville said about 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, Andrew Bassininsky, 26, and a 23-year-old female, not identified by troopers, became involved in a verbal argument at their residence at 44 Line Ave., in Cass Township.

State police at Frackville reported invesetigating a crash along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, that occurred about 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 30.

Troopers said David R. Smith, 19, of Forest City, Susquehanna County, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala southbound when he attempted to enter the left lane to pass another vehicle. As he did he lost control of his car which left the road and struck an embankment along the east berm. After impact with the embankment, the car flipped over several times before coming to rest on its roof.

A harassment incident occurred Friday afternoon in Schuylkill County.

Schuylkill Haven State Police said the situation took place at around 5 p.m. at 404 Market Street, Boro. of Auburn, when Doris Eidem, 53, of Auburn, made physically threatening statements towards Jose Santiago, 35, of Reading.

One charge of harassment was filled against the actor with district court 21-3-03.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating two crashes on Schuylkill County roads.

A crash was reported at 1:16 p.m. on Friday, June 29, along the Gordon Nagle Trail (SR901), near the intersection with Mengle St., in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Ralph O. Kunst, 60,of Lifle, Ill., was operating a 1999 Jeep Cherokee eastbound and slowing down to stop at the intersection for a vehicle turning left when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Angela A. Osborne, 18, of Minersville.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the reported theft of medication.

Troopers said Deneen Shade, 48, of 121 W. Laurel St., Tremont, reported someone took prescribed oxycodone and ocycontin 15mg from her pill bottles located on a table in her home. The incident occurred sometime between 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. on June 28.

State Police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Schuylkill County Friday morning.

In the commission of this crime, the suspect, a black male, about 6-feet-2-inches, with scruffy facial hair believed to be in his late 20s, walked into the Halifax Bank at 920 E. Wiconisco Ave., Tower City Borough at around 10:10 a.m.

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers:

Jeffrey Hartpence, 49, of Slatington, showed up at the Palmerton hospital about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, after learning his wife had been arrested for drunk driving.

At the hospital Hartpence created a physically hazardous condition, was intoxicated and began yelling at troopers in the presence of hospital staff and emergency room patients.

He was placed under arrest and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
