A road rage incident in which two women sustained injuries, is being probed and four suspects are being sought. State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred along Jonas Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, about 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 21.

According to troopers Jacalyn Cady McLeennan, 22, of Perkiomenville, Montgomery County, and Kristin Joy McLennan, 30, of Effort, were stopped by another vehicle at the above stated location and time.

Three drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges in separate incidents reported by state police at Lehighton.

Troopers said Benjamin David Philhower, 33, of East Stroudsburg, was stopped for a traffic violation about 2:30 a.m. on Friday, July 20, along SR209, south of Weir Lake Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 11 p.m. July 17 and 5:30 a.m. July 18 at a residence in Lower Towamensing Township.

The victim is Denise Eileen Frable, 56, of 510 Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton.

She reported someone damaged a window screen on her residence.

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of two signs from residences in Polk Township.

The one incident was reported at 3 p.m. July 14.

The victim is William Bock of Kunkletown.

He told police someone stole a "Rustic Road" street sign from his property along the road.

The second incident happened between 10 p.m. July 13 and 7 p.m. July 16.

That victim is Steve Faielle, 60, of Kunkletown.

He told police someone removed a green "Honeybee" road sign from his property at 119 Honeybee Lane in the township.

John Harkins IV, 34, of Lehighton, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop made by state police at the Lehighton barracks at 9:53 p.m. July 4 on Route 248, near the Palmerton ramp in that borough.

Police said he was stopped for a violation (driving on roadways laned for traffic), after which a series of field sobriety tests were administered that indicated he was driving while intoxicated.

An actor stole two cans of whipped cream and then huffed its contents during an incident at 5:35 p.m. July 16 in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Lehighton said the actor arrived at the Shell Station, 1583 Rt. 903 in the township, stole the whipped cream and huffed its contents before leaving the store undetected.

The investigation is continuing.

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft incident that happened between midnight July 14 and 8;30 a.m. July 19 in Polk Township.

The victim is Orhan Kricic, 52, of Saylorsburg.

The incident happened at 1 Fairgrounds Road in the township when someone removed a clock-operated switch defrost timer from the victim's property. The timer is valued at $230.

Charges of indecent assault have been filed by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks against Tito Huertas, 47, of Stroudsburg, following an incident at 1:45 p.m. July 7 in Jackson Township, Monroe County.

Police said the victim is a 50-year-old female who lives near Pennbrook and Fawn drives in the township.

Police said she was mowing her lawn when Huertas stood in his yard, which is next to the victim's residence, and exposed and fondled himself in front of her.

Police said the victim reported a previous occasion where a similar offense had occurred the week prior.

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an attempted burglary that happened between June 8 and July 16 at a residence in Towamensing Township.

The victim is a 55-year-old male resident of the township.

Police said he was away from his residence during the above times and came home to find someone attempted to forcibly enter his residence, discovering damage to his back doors. Police said no entry was gained.

The residence is located along David Circle in the township.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police apprehended Ehabb Elsayed, 26, of Effort, on July 19 at 9:55 p.m., arresting him with several charges, and also learning he is wanted on an outstanding warrant issued in Carbon County.

Police said they stopped a vehicle Elsayed was driving in Pocono Farms East because the vehicle had an illegal license plate on it. Police said the man proceeded to provide a false name to them and the further investigation revealed the vehicle he was driving was stolen in Monroe County. Police also found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
