No one was injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 6:18 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, along SR183 in Cressona, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michele D. Seidel, 32, of Cressona, was driving a 1998 Nissan Maxima southbound while Samuel H. Strausser, 45, of Pottsville, was northbound in a 2007 Dodge Dakota truck.

Troopers said Seidel crossed into the path of Strausser causing a collision. Damages were disabling to the two vehicles.

Troopers cited Seidel for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

A Nesquehoning couple was charged following a domestic dispute that turned physical

Borough police officer Brian White was dispatched to 50 E. Diaz Ave., about 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, for a reported domestic dispute that turned physical.

State police at Fogelsville reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made recently in Lehigh County.

Troopers said Wildalee Santiago Acevedo, 31, of Breinigsville, was stopped for multiple traffic violations about 3:37 a.m. on Sept. 16 along SR222 between Kressler and Krocks roads, in Lower Macungie Township. She showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest. The DUI charge is pendnig blood test results, troopers said.

Nesquehoning police reported on the following traffic citations issued by officers recently.

Christopher Gogal, 52 Messina St., Nesquehoning, was cited for failure to give information and render aid after an accident that occurred in the New Columbus Fire Company parking lot on Oct. 1, at 10:24 p.m. There were no injuries and it was a non-reportable crash.

Two persons were arrested following an incident in Monroe County. Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred about 12:34 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Bill's Shop Rite, in Mount Pocono.

Police were called to the store for a report of a theft incident. On scene police were informed store security had two persons in custody for retail theft. They were identified as Brittany Boehm, 20, of Gilbert, and Robert Maisano, 30, of Kresgeville.

A Tamaqua driver was involved in a one vehicle crash in Lehigh County in which he was cited.

State police at Fogelsville said James J. Baddick, 33, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker northbound on SR309 about 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Lynn Township. He was negotiating a left curve when he lost control.

The Tracker spun counter-clockwise and traveled onto the east shoulder where it flipped onto the driver's side.

The vehicle came to rest on the shoulder on the driver's side. Baddick was not injured but damages were disabling to the vehicle.

A Slatington man has been charged following a domestic incident at his residence.

Borough police said they responded to 700 Main St., Apt. 104, about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, for a reported domestic incident.

As a result of an investigation Michael Moser, 37, of that address, was charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

A large amount of cash and jewelry was reported taken in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Joseph Prusarczyk, 72, of 330 Ralph Samuel Blvd., in Kunkletown, Polk Township, reported on Sunday, Sept. 30, that $28,300 worth of cash and jewelry was removed from his home.

Troopers said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

A Schuylkill County man wanted for aggravated assault, and related counts, was apprehended recently.

State police at Frackville said Willis Arthur Fredericks Jr., 44, of 58 Wiggan St., New Philadelphia, was apprehended on Sept. 27 about 2:40 p.m. at his residence.

Troopers said Fredericks was wanted for an assault incident in which he allegedly had an argument with his live-in girlfriend at the residence. During the argument the woman's elderly mother was pushed by Fredericks and fell down steps in the home and was critically injured.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said a home at 170 Cadbury St., Palo Alto, was entered sometime between Sept. 29 and Oct. 2.

Removed from the home was various coins and jewelry. The jewelry included a 1966 Nativity High School class ring, with a blue sapphire stone, a class ring from North Schuylkill High School, an emerald ring with small diamonds, a small gold nugget, and various watches. No value was listed for the items.

The listed victim was Edmund Lubinsky of Pottsville.
