A domestic dispute involving a Carbon County couple has led to a charge of harassment.

State police at Fern Ridge said Jacqueline Annette Capobianco, 35, and Ali Philip Capobianco, 51, both of D1, Indian Mountain Lakes Apartments, Penn Forest Township, were involved in a verbal argument about 10:12 p.m. on March 25.

Troopers said Ali Philip Capobianco allegedly struck Jacqueline Annette Capobianco in the chin. He was charged, troopers said.

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported investigating an incident involving a taxi driver at a Mount Poocono residence.

Police said about 2:31 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, officers were dispatched to 10 Candlewood Lane in Mount Pocono for an incident. On scene officers were told by Mountain taxi driver Mark Mclean, 55, of Saylorsburg, that his vehicle was struck while in the driveway of the residence of Edward Clark, 47. Clark was backing out of the driveway and failed to see Mclean's vehicle and struck it.

Two persons involved in a domestic dispute have been charged.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 7734 Country Place Drive, in A Pocono Country Place, in Tobyhanna, about 1:16 a.m. on March 30 for a domestic dispute.

On scene officers learned that Virginia Reichold-Paskiewicz, 56, and Isabella Paskiewicz, 68, both of that address, were involved in a disptue during which both engaged in a fight with each other and both sustained minor injuries. Both were checked by ambulance personnel for medical conditions unrelated to the altercation.

A Lehigh County man was jailed last week on sexual assault charges.

State police at Fogelsville said the mother of a female from Lower Macungie Township contacted troopers and reported her daughter had been raped.

The incident allegedly occurred in August 2010.

Through an investigation troopers said it was determined the victim had sexual intercourse with the accused when she was 13 and he was 22.

The suspect was identified as Ryan Taylor Mock, 23, of Allentown.

State police at Fogelsville reported investigating a five-vehicle, rear-end crash about 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, in the area of 4450 Hamilton Blvd., in Lower Macungie Township.

Troopers said Douglas Paul Snoddy, 55, of Macungie, operating a 2010 Chevrolet van, was northbound when he came upon a line of vehicles which were stopped for a red traffic signal.

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident where two dogs were let loose from a Monroe County property.

Troopers said Shawn R. Stoll, 35, of 2500 SR115, in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone let his two dogs loose. The dogs were on chains at his property and let go sometime between 3:15 and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30.

One dog answers to the name "Lily", and is a black one year old Shepard/Lab mix; and the other answers to "Snoopy", and is a tan 15-year-old Shepard/Lab mix.

State police at Frackville reported investigating a domestic incident in Schuylkill County appearently involving a father and son.

Troopers said the incident occurred at 118 Water St., New Philadelphia, about 1:20 a.m. on Monday, April 2.

Cruelty to animals

A juvenile referral was filed against a 14-year-old Palmerton male for criminal mischief, persistent disorderly conduct, and cruelty to animals. The incident occurred between March 3-19 in the 200 blocks of Avenue A and B.

Traffic violation

Craig Samuels, 29, of 746 Princeton Avenue, Palmerton, was cited for stop signs and yield signs. The violation occurred on March 25 at 10:30 p.m. at Franklin Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.

A Montgomery County man, facing charges stemming from allegedly defrauding several Tamaqua area homeowners following last May's destructive hail storm, has now been arrested by Nesquehoning police for a similar incident in the borough.

Jonathan Paul Williams, 27, of Chalfont and North Wales, has been charge with forgery, theft, receiving stolen property, secure execution of documents by deception, false impersonation privately employed, bad checks, and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received.

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident that occurred about 3:25 p.m. on March 24 at Kinsley's ShopRite, located at 760 SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Kara Colleen Reilly, 26, of Effort, was accused of taking $20 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
