State police at Frackville reported investigating two theft incidents in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a Fed-Ex box containing two LG brand cell phones was removed from behind the counter of Express Business Services, in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township. The theft occurred sometime between 9:10 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 9:20 a.m. on Oct. 22. The phones are valued at $300.

Two Lansford juveniles were cited after police found them to be under the influence of alcohol.

According to Summit Hill police, on Aug. 29 at 1:23 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop and found two girls, ages 16 and 17, inside the vehicle. The girls, officers discovered, had consumed alcoholic beverages.

They were both cited with underage drinking.

Two area men were charged with public drunkenness after two separate incidents in Summit Hill.

According to borough police, the first incident occurred on Sept. 6, at 6:30 a.m. Police received a call for a disturbance. When they arrived they found Dave Snyder, 51, of 520 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, to be under the influence of alcohol.

In a separate incident, police were traveling along SR902 when they drove by Christopher Serina, 51, of 42 Leisenring St., Lansford.

As they drove by Serina began yelling at the officers.

Two Panther Valley High School students were charged after they got into a fight.

According to Summit Hill police, on Sept. 20, at 10:50 a.m., police received a report of a fight between two students at the school. Upon arrival they found a 15-year-old Summit Hill male and a 15-year-old Nesquehoning male had been involved in a fight.

They were both charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

A Monroe County man is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 2:58 a.m. on Oct. 8 officers observed a vehicle being driven erratically and nearly causing an accident along SR611 at SR940 in Mt. Pocono.

A traffic stop was made and the driver was identified as Steven Napoli, 73, of Mt. Pocono. He was found to be extremely intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, police said.

A vehicle reported stolen in Lehigh County has been recovered in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 1987 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck was found in a wooded area near 200 Green Tree Drive, in West Brunswick Township, about 4:35 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17. The truck was reported stolen by its owner, Brent Connors, of Whitehall, on Sept. 28.

Anyone with information concerning this vehicle is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.

Mahoning Township Police Chief Kenneth Barnes has released the following incident reports, all but one stemming from misbehavior at the Wal-Mart.

Defiant trespass: At 5:12 p.m. Oct. 16, Jamie Lynn Bauder, 27, of Ridge Street, Lansford, was charged with defiant trespass. Bauder had been involved in a previous incident at another Walmart store and had been ordered to stay out of all Wal-Mart stores.

A Monroe County teen has been cited after he was found lying on a roadway.

State police at Lehighton said about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, troopers found Ryan Matthew Werle, 19, of Effort, lying on Polk Township Road, near Burger Hollow Road, in Polk Township, intoxicated.

Troopers cited Werle for public drunkenness and underage drinking.

A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of harassment.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kim McGovern, 26, of Schuylkill Haven, will be charged for allegedly contacting Anastacio Rodriguez, 41, of Auburn, after she was told to stop contacting him and his wife. The incident occurred about 1:23 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17.

Several incidents were investigated by the Mahoning Township Police Department during the past few months.

On Sept. 30, a Lower Towamensing Township resident told police that while at the Excel Health Care Center in the 1600 block of Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East for a doctor's appointment, her navy blue Columbia hooded waterproof jacket was stolen. The jacket has a value of about $100. A set of car keys was in the pocket of the jacket.
