Lehighton police reported that Joan L. Rossman, 48, of 670 Lans Way, Albrightsville, has been charged with one count of bad check.

Police said she passed the check at PDC Spa & Pool, 701 Bridge St., on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011.

Two persons were cited following an altercation in Carbon County. State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred about 3:52 p.m. at 312 Bridge St., Weissport, on March 31.

Troopers said Nathan David Leslie, 23, of Nesquehoning, allegedly struck Donnie Neil Christman, 35, of Weissport, in the head and face with a closed fist. Troopers said Christman then allegedly shoved and struck Leslie in the head and face area with a closed fist.

Both were cited for harassment, troopers said.

State police at Frackville reported investigating a rear-end type crash in the Schuylkill County borough of Girardville.

Troopers said Gary E. Romanot, 61, of Girardville, driving a 2003 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, was stopped on E. Main St., about 4:53 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, waiting to make a left turn into a driveway.

Kenneth R. Jessman, 46, of Girardville, driving a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, was westbound and failed to stop and his vehicle hit the rear of the pickup truck.

No one was injured. Troopers cited Jessman for careless driving.

A Jim Thorpe resident is facing two felony drug counts for allegedly selling heroin to a confidential informant (CI).

Borough police said Earl A. Eldridge, 31, of 308 1/2 South Ave., has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, and two misdemeanor counts of possession.

Police said on Oct. 7, 2011, Eldridge sold three packets of heroin to the CI for $60. On Oct. 14, 2011, he sold three more packs of the drug to the CI for another $60.

A Jim Thorpe man is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident that occurred on March 23,

Borough police were called to Bob's Market, 15 W. Sixth St., about 8:42 a.m. for a theft report. On scene officers were told that Gregory Andrew Macalush, 20, of 21 W. Third St., had taken two cans of soup from the store without paying for them.

Police were also told the incident had been recorded on the store's surveillance system, which the officers later viewed.

A Jim Thorpe resident was jailed on several charges following an incident in the borough.

Borough police said about 2:40 a.m. on March 6 they were dispatched to W. Sixth Street for a fight in progress. On scene they found Charles W. Wiley, 28, of 10 W. Sixth St., lying on the ground. Police said he was manifestly under the influence of alcohol.

While there Wiley's girlfriend, identified as Laura C. Simmons, exited the suspects' house with their 5-year-old daughter and said she was leaving. At this point Wiley stood up and chased after Simmons.

A Schuylkill County man was jailed following an incident in Carbon County.

Jim Thorpe police said about 11:29 p.m. on Feb. 25 they were dispatched to the Broadway House, located at 46 Broadway, for a domestic incident between two guests.

A security vehicle owned by A Pocono Country Place, in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, was stolen and later found crashed.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they were called to Woodcliff Drive in the development about 8:48 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, for a report of a theft. On scene officers learned that the security vehicle was stolen from in front of 1169 Woodcliff.

Debra Nuttall, 47, of 44 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, was charged with public drunkenness following an incident in the area of the Tamaqua Train Station.

On April 1, at 8:20 p.m., police and ambulance personnel were dispatched to the rear of the station for a fall victim. Nuttall was the patient and was heavily intoxicated at the time.

A Schuylkill County club has been cited for an alarm violation.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said 10 Pin Club, at 85 Long Stretch Rd., in Pine Grove Township, was cited for its seventh false-at fault, alarm from their property that occurred over a 12-month period.
