Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Marques Reginald Reaves, 26, in a case of aggravated assault on a police officer and fleeing and eluding police.

State police, Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Troop L, Frackville, and Pottsville Police Department, continue their search for Reaves.

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on several arrests made by officers recently.

On March 16 about 6:18 p.m. officers responded to 4040 Hunter Drive, in the Still Water Lakes development, in Pocono Summit, for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers identified Mark Nelson, 50, and a juvenile male, at the scene. A further investigation revealed Nelson had assaulted the juvenile, his son.

He was placed under arrest and charged with smiple assault and harassment.

A Brockton resident is facing a drug count.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John P. Dankulich was found to have in his possession drug paraphernalia along Tumbling Run Road, about 500 feet east of SR61, in North Manheim Township. The incident occurred about 8 p.m. on March 15, troopers said.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said two drivers involved in a crash at a Schuylkill County intersection have disputed who caused the crash. The accident was reported at the intersection of state routes 183 and 61 in North Manheim Township, on Tuesday, March 22.

Indecent assault

Criminal charges were filed against Franklin Berger, 37, of 1045 Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, for 2 counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors. The incident occurred between 1998 and 2000 in the 700 block of Edgemont Avenue.


Shaughn Livermon, 30, of 1361-4 E Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred on March 18 at 6:24 a.m. on SR248 east.

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred on Monday, March 21, along Hemlock Drive at Green Road, in Tobyhanna.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they stopped Ellis Rodriguez, 53, of Tobyhanna, about 11:51 p.m. for traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.

The DUI is pending the test results.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary and theft incident at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said the home of Jennifer M. Boyer, 33, of 9 Second St., Pine Grove, Porter Township, was entered and removed was a sand blasting cabinet. The incident was reported at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23.

Two persons were arrested in what police called a child abuse case. Charged was a Monroe County man for striking the child, and the victim's mother for lying to police.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Monday, March 21, they received a report of a suspected child abuse incident. Police said on March 9 the family of the victim child, an 11-month-old female, contacted authorities after seeing a suspicious bruise on the child's left cheek that appeared to be a handprint.

The North Central Pa. Regional Sobriety Checkpoint DUI Taskforce and Expanded DUI/Underage Drinking Enforcement Program has released the following statistics from a Roving DUI Patrol and Sobriety Checkpoint held March 19 in Schuylkill County.

During the roving patrol, a total of 11 vehicles were contacted and detained. No one was tested for driving under the influence. Officers issued four traffic citations and eight warnings. Officers from two county law enforcement departments participated in the patrol.

Adam Fenstermaker, 23, of 362 W. Church St., Slatington, has been arrested by borough police for public drunkenness.

Polilce said they responded to the area of the 700 block on Main Street on March 22 ar 8:24 p.m. and found Fenstermaker in a highly intoxicated state. He was taken into custody, transported to the police headquarters and released to the custody of the Lehigh County Adult Probation Department.
