A Summit Hill man was cited after he caused a disturbance in the borough.

According to police, on April 4, at 9:07 p.m., they received a call for a disturbance at the School House apartments, 128 W. Hazard St. Upon arrival, they observed Lyndon Eickhoff, 46, of 120 W. School St., outside the apartments banging on the door and yelling obscenities.

He was charged with disorderly conduct.

Tamaqua police have issued warrants for two borough men allegedly involved in the theft of a bank card.

Amy Wagner, of Tamaqua, contacted police in March after she discovered several unathorized purchases made with her M&T Bank card. The purchases were made at three Tamaqua locations during the time fram of Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, 2010. The card had been used at Fegley's Mini Mart on Center Street, Boyer's Food Mart on Cedar Street and Turket Hill Minit Mart on East Broad Street.

A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident at the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

State police at Frackville said on Monday, April 11, at about 4:30 p.m. Sears Store security stopped Roberta Leeann Schoener, 49, of Auburn, for allegedly attempting to leave the store with two electric scooters and a woman's sweater she had in a shopping cart without paying for the items.

Troopers said she was issued a citation and released.

A traffic stop along SR534 at SR209 in Polk Township, Monroe County, has led to the driver facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said Nathan A. Eckhart, 27, of Albrightsville, was stopped about 2:01 a.m on Sunday, April 10, for several traffic violations. At the stop Eckhart was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test.

Troopers said charges will be filed.

Jim Thorpe police reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by officers.

On Jan. 13 at about 11:41 p.m. police were dispatched to the area of 321 W. Broadway for a one vehicle crash. On scene the driver involved in the crash was identified as Anthony John Naimon III, 42, of 40 Ash Drive, Jim Thorpe. Naimon showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests.

Two Tamaqua residents were cited in Summit Hill after they caused a disturbance.

According to police, on April 1, at 2:21 a.m., police received a report of a disturbance at Market and Walter streets. Upon arrival they found Greg Muffley, 27, of 114 Patterson St., and Alicia Whah, 24, of the same address, fighting out in the street.

Both Muffley and Whah were cited for disorderly conduct.

State police at Lehighton reported making four arrests for underage drinking, plus other citations being issued by troopers.

The underage drinking arrests occurred on Saturday, April 9, about 1:20 a.m .along Mountain View Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County. A traffic stop was made at that location for motor vehicle code violations.

At the stop four persons in the vehicle were found to have consumed alclohol under the age of 21.

A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of theft following an incident that occurred on April 6.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John Bruno, 28, of Nesquehoning, an employee of the Full Service Vending Co., of McAdoo, went to the Cardinal Systems plant along SR61 at Manheim Rd., in North Manheim Township, about 5:30 p.m. to service the vending machines in the plant.

While Bruno was inside the plant an employee of the firm entered the victim's service vehicle and removed two coin bags and a cellular phone. Another employee saw the incident and reported it.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on theft incidents investigated by troopers at locations in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said unknown persons entered the property of Paul's Tire Shop, 2022 Long Run Rd., North Manheim Township, and removed about 20 aluminum alloy tire rims from near a trailer park at the front of the business. The rims are valued at $110. The listed victim is Paul L. Weller, 60, of Orwigsburg. The theft occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Friday, April 8, and 9:20 a.m. on Saturday.

State police at Fogelsville reported on a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest.

Troopers said about 3:41 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, Brandon Mamuzich, 23, of the 4200 block of Independence Lane, Walnutport, was stopped for a stop sign violation at Exit 59 ramp from Interstate 78, to W. Rock Road., in Salisbury Township.

At the stop Mamuzich was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers added.
