Slatington police responded to a domestic incident about 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, which resulted in drug counts against the participants.

Police went to 20 Main St. for a domestic incident involving a male and female. Police said they found 34 packets of heroin on scene.

As a result Joseph B. McDowell, 33, of 39 Dowell St., Slatington, and Samantha Teti, 26, of 209 Highland Drive, Landenberg, Chester County, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.

The Lansford Police Department has numerous items in the lost and found including purses, wallets, pictures, cell phones, and identification cards. Anyone who may have lost an item can stop by the police station at 1 E. Ridge St. and identify their lost items before they are discarded.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating two theft incidents at Schuylkill County locations.

James Turner Jr., of Orwigsburg, reported someone took a 800-foot roll of galvanized steel, three-eighth wire, from his property at 291 Pheasant Run Road, in West Brunswick Township. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on Feb. 21 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 22.

State police at Frackville reported on two crashes investigated by troopers over the past weekend.

A two vehicle crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, along SR895 in East Brunswick Township. Troopers said Kyle Z. Davis, 22, of Dornsife, Northumberland County, was driving a 2000 Ford eastbound and stopped to make a right turn onto Hawk Mountain Road when his car was struck in the rear by a 1996 Saturn operated by Samantha L. Thomas, 28, of Drumore, Lancaster County.

State police at Fern Ridge released an update on a shooting incident in Monroe County.

Troopers reported on Friday that Bernadette O'Reilly, 50, of 251 Whisperwood Rd., Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, was found in her home suffering from a gunshot wound to the abodmen.

Troopers responded to the home about 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21. She was transported to St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, by West End ambulance.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported they are investigating a robbery that took place on Swatara Road, just off SR209 in Reilly Township, Schuylkill County.

The victim is Kathleen M. Devine, 70, of Gilberton.

Police said Devine was given a ride in an unknown make or model sport utility vehicle (SUV) (white in color) from Pottsville to Swatara Road, where the crime occurred. The SUV had been operated by a white female possibly in her 40s and was going by the name, "Katie."

A domestic incident in Tamaqua on Feb. 10 resulted in the filing of charges against both parties.

Cpl. Dwayne Hacker and Patrolman Anthony Stanell were dispatched to 324 E. Union St., at 12:40 a.m. for a reported domestic incident. At the scene, they found Timothy Michael Stahl, 41, and Rachel Bales, 28. Both had visible injuries to their persons and claimed to have been struck/punched/ scratched by the other.

A Tamaqua man has been cited following an argument with his sister.

Officers were dispatched t 119 E. Broad St. at 11:12 p.m. on Feb. 19 for a domestic in progress. When they arrived, they spoke with Alexis Lombardo and Anthony Carlino Jr., who were outside on the sidewalk.

A Tamaqua man faces charges following a domestic incident in the borough on Feb. 12.

Cpl. Dwayne Hacker was dispatched to 326 N. Railroad St. at 11:45 p.m. after the Schuylkill County Communications Center received a call from Sally Roberts, stating her husband was outside, banging on the doors and windows. Once on scene, Cpl. Hacker observed a smashed wooden bench on the front porch, as well as damage to the mailbox and the front door jamb.

A snow/ice ball throwing incident in Tamaqua on Feb. 7 resulted in three teens being cited by police.

At 5:50 p.m., Wendy Seigenfuse of 145 Grouse Ridge, Tamaqua, called police to report that she was driving on Hunter Street, near the intersection with Orwigsburg Street, when a young male threw an ice/snow ball, striking her vehicle.

She stopped, got out of the vehicle and found three teens, two 13 year old and one 14 year old, hiding under a deck. She called police and the trio ran toward the railroad tracks.
