State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident.

Troopers said a resident in the of 1300 block of Meixsell Valley Road, Saylorsburg, Monroe County, reported someone siphoned fuel from a tractor and two snowmobiles on his property. The victim said the suspect fled in a black, 1990s model Dodge Ram pickup. The incident was reported at 4:53 p.m. on Monday.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.

A large amount of cash was reported taken in a Schuylkill County incident.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred on Tuesday at a residence along Morea Road, in West Mahanoy Township. Troopers said two males, pretending to work for the water company, entered the residence at 4:30 p.m. to check for contaminated water. Once inside, one of the suspects distracted the homeowners while the other stole $8,000.

A Carbon County woman is facing drug charges following an incident on Tuesday at 3:40 p.m.

State police at Lehighton said Kelly Sue Neff, 46, of 70 Anthony Lane, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. She told troopers that she was in possession of drug paraphernalia in her residence.

Troopers said Neff's boyfriend gave permission to search the home. Found were numerous items of drug paraphernalia belonging to Neff. The items were seized.

State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash along Interstate 81 in Delano Township, Schuylkill County, at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers said Stephen C. Semcho, 61, of Cary, North Carolina, was driving a 2005 Lexus ES330 southbound when the vehicle left the road along the east berm and landed in a ditch. Semcho was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.

Semcho was cited for the crash.

A vehicle stop by Pocono Mountain Regional police has led to drug and other charges against the driver.

Police said a vehicle operated by Maranda Jacobs, 24, of Hughesville, Lycoming County, was stopped at 12:53 a.m. on Tuesday along Route 940 at Spur Road, for a vehicle code violation.

At the stop it was learned that Jacobs' license was under suspension-DUI related. A consent search was conducted of the vehicle and found were nonprescribed pills, various drug paraphernalia, and heroin in a hypodermic needle. Jacobs admitted the items were hers.

A Monroe County woman is the victim of access device fraud.

State police said someone obtained the victim's Sears MasterCard account number and used it to purchase a credit report costing $32.95. The victim, who resides in Polk Township, was notified by the card company's fraud department of the charge. The card was then canceled.

A student at Penn State-Schuylkill Haven was caught shoplifting at a Schuylkill County store.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Toure Williams, of Philadelphia, was observed by store personnel of Redner's Warehouse Markets, located off Route 61 in North Manheim Township, placing a number of food items on his person then leaving the store without paying for them.

The incident occurred on Sunday at 6 p.m. Charges were filed with District Judge James Ferrier, of Orwigsburg.

A Schuylkill County driver is facing charges following an incident that began in West Hazleton and led into Schuylkill County.

State police at Hazleton said West Hazleton police attempted to stop a Jeep Wrangler operated by Michael Francis Jevelle, 28, of Ringtown, at 4:25 a.m. on Sunday for a traffic violation in the area of the Subway restaurant at Broad and Fourth streets.

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two thefts and one criminal mischief incident. One theft incident involved valuable jewelry.

The victim, who lives on Starlight Drive in Effort, reported someone stole several pieces of jewelry from her residence. The jewelry is valued at $11,150. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 7 and Dec. 15, 2014, but was not reported by troopers until now.

A Carbon County driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Luzerne County in which the other driver was cited.

State police at Hazleton said the crash occurred at 6:38 p.m. Jan. 11 at the intersection of Route 924 (Can-Do Expressway) and Commerce Drive, in Hazle Township.

Troopers said Alan J. Hilenski, 20, of Mountain Top, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier eastbound on 924 while Thomas B. Williams, 39, of Summit Hill, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic westbound.
