The following incidents of retail theft have been reported by area police.

• State police at Fogelsville said Clayton Stauffer, 60, of Lehighton, was arrested Tuesdayat the Walmart store in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, at 2:17 p.m. Troopers said he attempted to steal $75.48 worth of merchandise from the store.

Over a pound of marijuana was found in a vehicle following a traffic stop along Interstate 80 westbound in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said a 2013 Hyundai Azera was stopped at 2:21 p.m. on Saturday for traffic violations. The driver was identified as Sharif James Seals, 41, of 46 Darling St., Wilkes-Barre.

State police from Fern Ridge reported investigating the following incidents:

• Two 16-year-old girls from Kunkletown were cited after a verbal argument turned into a physical fight at 6:26 p.m. March 9 ata location on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. One teen was charged with harassment and the other with disorderly conduct.

• William Thomas Paladino, 53, of 85 Buckhill Road, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, is charged with slapping a26-year-old Albrightsville man in the head several times around 8 p.m. Sunday. He was charged with harassment.

The owner of a red bicycle that was found along the shoulder of Interstate 81 northbound in Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, is being sought.

State police at Frackville said the bike was found on Monday at 9:55 p.m.

Anyone with information about the bike or its owner, is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300

A traffic stop along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, has led to the arrest of the driver and passenger.

State police at Fern Ridge said a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox was stopped at 10:47 p.m. Sunday northbound for several traffic violations.

The driver, Nicholas Robert Acker, 20, of 96 Wild Creek Drive, Jim Thorpe, was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest. His passenger, Cameron George Dickson, 19, of 12 Hawk Lane, Jim Thorpe, was found to be in possession of empty heroin packets and hypodermic needles.

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident in Monroe County in which a suspected mobile meth lab was found.

Troopers said on March 17 at 12:05 a.m. they responded toa Gooseberry Lane, Chestnuthill Township, residence for a domestic dispute. While on scene troopers found a backpack outside the residence. The backpack contained a suspected mobile meth lab. Both individuals involved in the domestic, who police did not identify, claimed no knowledge of the backpack or had any idea where it came from.

A Monroe County driver, who was initially stopped for speeding, is facing a driving under the influence charge.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Juan C. Vasquez-Hidalgo, 30, 3149 Hamlet Drive, Tobyhanna, was observed speeding along Route 196 near Renaissance Lane, in Tobyhanna, on Saturday at 2:57 a.m. He also failed to lower his high beams on his vehicle. A vehicle stop was made and the officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle.

Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Disorderly conduct:A 17-year-old Lehighton male was charged with disorderly conduct, for an incident March 13 in the 200 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Traffic investigation:Benjamin Farrell, 38, of Palmerton, charged with investigation by police officers, for an incident March 15 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations:Police also issued three citations each for speeding and vehicle violations.

Summit Hill police reported on the following incidents:

Driving under the influence:Thomas Kepp, 62, of South Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, was charged with two counts of DUI and driving while his license is suspended for the vehicle stop in Summit Hill on Sept. 24.

Ronald Gieniec, 63, of East Ruddle Street, Coaldale, was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign and two counts of DUI after police observed him failing to stop his vehicle on Nov. 18.

Assault and harassment:Two Blakeslee residents face charges in Summit Hill after a disturbance earlier this month.

No one was injured following a two-car crash Thursday afternoon in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. while two vehicles were traveling north on Route 61 at Brick Hill Road, West Brunswick Township.
