Miller-Keystone Blood Drive

Miller-Keystone Blood Center's bimonthly Palmerton community blood drive at the First United Church of Christ on Aug. 28 drew 70 potential donors, and 61 pints were collected.

Since donations typically decrease during the summer, and there were no Trima machines (with which one donor can give two or three units) this time, the registration goal was lowered from the usual 65 to 50. Faithful donors from community showed up as usual.

The visit was sponsored by Janet Snyder and Carol and Joseph Frey, in memory of Jean Behler.
