Susanne Kane, daughter of David and Patricia Holmes of Hometown, and the late James Kane, Tamaqua, became the bride of Joseph Jeffrey Semuta, son of Joseph and Mary Alyce Semuta of Hazleton on July 2, 2010 in an outdoor ceremony at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn, Stroudsburg.

Officiating the double ring ceremony was the Rev. Bob Amundsen. A brass quintet, led by Brian Shughart, provided music for the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her mother, the bride chose Cara (Griffin) Ruggeri of Coopersburg as her matron of honor.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Geissinger of White Haven and John Evans of Sunbury, and stepdaughter of Larry Joffee of White Haven.
