The Panther Valley High School Class of 1971 will host its 40-year anniversary reunion on Sept. 17 at the Mahoning Valley Country Club.

The reunion committee is still in need of current addresses for a few "missing" class members, including John V. Garrett, Michael E. Porvaznik, Thomas J. Demyanovich Robbins, Frances A. Sharpe Schmell and Kenneth J. Valentine.

The Tamaqua Area High School Class of 1996 will host its 15-year reunion at 1 p.m. on Aug. 27 at Lake Hauto Crescent Beach.

There is a fee to attend and reservations and payment must be made by Aug. 13.

The planning committee for the 45th-year reunion of the Panther Valley Class of 1966 would like to remind classmates that the returns for the reunion are due by Sept. 3.

The reunion will be held at the Mahoning Valley Country Club on Oct. 1.

The 40th reunion of the Marian High School Class of 1971 will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24, in Cape May, N.J.

Classmate Mary Baddick Stewart and her husband own the "Spirit of Cape May" and have offered to host a three-hour dinner cruise that evening. Many have decided to make it a weekend getaway. There will also be whale and dolphin watching cruises available at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sept. 24. An informal gathering is scheduled for Friday evening for those arriving early.

The Frable-Fravel family will host its 81st reunion from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14 at St. Matthew's Grove, Kunkletown.

There will be entertainment, games, a cakewalk, Chinese Auction and a concession stand. The event is open to the public.

The 50-year reunion of the Pleasant Valley High School Class of 1961 will take place on Aug. 27.

For class members of any years as well as graduates, the reunion committee hopes to hear from all as soon as possible.

The 79th Annual Reunion of the Strohl Family will be held Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Palmerton Memorial Park beginning at 1 p.m. Family members are asked to bring a covered dish. Sodas and hot dogs will be available for purchase.

A brief business meeting will be held immediately after lunch. Bring cakes for the cakewalk and a small prize for bingo.

Please bring old family pictures and other Strohl mementos for discussion.

The 32nd annual reunion of the descendants of George and Lillie (Eaches) Walck will take place at the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, beginning at 11 a.m. Aug. 28.

The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m.

Guests are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert and an item for the Chinese Auction or the cakeWalck, as well as recipes for inclusion in the family cookbook.
