She earned a bachelor of arts in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice and social work from East Stroudsburg University.

She is employed by Sanofi Pasteur.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Maureen and George Bower of West Deptford, N.J. He is a 2005 graduate of West Deptford High School in New Jersey.

Announcement has been made of the engagement of Ashley McDonald and Martin Hage, both of Philadelphia.

The bride-elect is the daughter of attorney William and Joanne McDonald of West Penn Township. She graduated from Drexel University, Philadelphia, with a bachelor's degree in design and merchandising.

She is employed by Macy's Department Store, Ardmore, as visual manager.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Alisan Hage of Crystal Lake, Ill. He studied theater at Viterbo University in Wisconsin.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steven and Laurel Geiger of Palmerton. She is a 2003 graduate of Palmerton Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Marywood University where she earned a master of science in physician assistant studies.

She is employed at Northwestern Medical Center in New Tripoli.
