The engagement of Monica Radelat to Dr. Robert Cook, both of Lansdale, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Monte and Debbie Radelat of Wiggins, Miss.

She is a 2006 graduate of Stone High School in Mississippi, and a 2010 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned a bachelor of science in biological sciences.

She is currently attending The Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Sherri and Pete Pengrin of Ringtown, originally from Tamaqua.

The engagement of Amanda deVillers of Mangilao, Guam, U.S.A. to Justin McCutcheon of Tamuning, Guam, U.S.A., has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marc and Donna deVillers of Albrightsville.

She is a 2005 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Moravian College, Bethlehem, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of Guam.

She is employed as a biological technician for War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Guam.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School. She has a bachelor of science degree from Lebanon Valley College in biochemistry and molecular biology. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She is employed as a physical therapist for Blue Mountain Health Systems.

Caleb, a 2009 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, is also an undergraduate student at Albright College, where he is earning a bachelor of science degree in psychobiology.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Howard Startzel Sr. of Tamaqua and the late Catherine Startzel. A graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, she is employed by Independent Living Services, Tamaqua, as a personal care associate.

Her fiance is the son of John Wojick of Reading and the late Paul and Pat Stine of Grier City. A graduate of Pottsville Area High School, he is employed as a landscaping specialist.

No date has been set for the wedding.
