The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Mary Alice Kuhn of Jim Thorpe. She is a 2005 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, and a 2009 graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where she majored in sport management.

While at ESU, Caitlin was a four-year letter winner in volleyball.
