St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall will be holding a community yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 22.

The table sign-up sheet will be in Fritze Hall and it is $20 per table. The proceeds from the tables will go to the nonprofit, no-kill rescue organization Feline Finish Line Rescue, which will be joining us that day with kittens and cats available for adoption.The kitchen will also be open, along with a bake sale table. The proceeds from the food sales will go to to Daybreak.KG2Recycle, a textile recycling truck, will also be in the parking lot and will take clothing, bedding, shoes, sneakers and other similar items, keeping it out of landfills.Food donations will be accepted and given to the Whitehall Food Bank.
