Join the Palmerton Area High/Junior High School Drama Club on their quest to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The club will perform their rendition of The Wiz! at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday in the high school auditorium. The cost of admission is $5 for students, and $8 for adults.

Professional wrestler Tony A. J. Petrucci, who is part of the Masked Destroyers tag team, does a somersault onto his opponent during bout in the Loco Gym in Feasterville, Bucks County. The Destroyers are the tag team champions in the Loco Wrestling Association, holding the belts for several months. Petrucci, who got his start in the World Wresting Federation, still does the somersault at age 61.

On Sunday afternoon, the Mauch Chunk Opera House presents Irish and Broadway Classics: From Danny Boy to Phantom.

It's the 100-year anniversary of the first public performances of the song Danny Boy.

To recognize the occasion, the American actor and singing sensation Nat Chandler joins soprano Anne Tormela and the Manhattan Lyric Opera in a dazzling foray through Irish and Broadway classics.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, tonight at the Opera House, performing will be Splintered Sunlight in a concert beginning at 8 p.m.

The year 2012 in cinema will be remembered as one of the best ever.

Many of the Oscar-nominated pictures garnered critical and popular acclaim. Look for Oscar to share the gold.

The Oscars will air on ABC at 7 p.m. Sunday.
