Here in the Keystone State, it's no secret that our highways and bridges are vital to our existence and play a key role in all our lives. From a school bus driver picking up school children, to a doctor heading to work at a hospital, to the farmer delivering milk, Pennsylvania's highway and bridge system consists of thousands of miles of roadway, much of which faces a serious crisis.
I can not believe that Senator Casey has joined Senator Jay Rockefeller in working to inhibit the EPA ability to do it's job. Specifically to regulate the CO2 emissions of the nation's largest polluters through
directives of the Clean Air Act.
These Senators believe that Congress not the EPA should regulate emission standards. Give us a break! We all have seen Congress in action and frankly have little faith in their willingness and ability to accomplish anything other than presenting a sickening show of self-serving, small minded, partizan theater.
