Five area volleyball teams get victories

Five Times News area volleyball teams earned victories on Tuesday night. Jim Thorpe, Northwestern, Panther Valley, Tamaqua, and Marian all picked up wins. Two Fillies reached milestones during their win against Tri-Valley.

Also contributing offensively were Kadin Burnell, who had a 6-yard TD run, and Devin Smith, who had a 49-yard touchdown run. Doug Endy led the defense with two fumble recoveries.
