If you know what that means, you're probably among the hundreds of thousands - or more - who ignore the calendar and believe that fall begins when Starbucks announces its Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back.Since it's debut 14 years ago, Starbucks baristas have brewed up a whopping 350,000,000 cups of the sweet seasonal beverage.Made with real pumpkin, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is created from a blend of espresso, steamed milk and spices, including cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. It's finished with a flourish of whipped cream and pumpkin spice.Don't drink coffee? The PSL is so popular, Starbucks added a new item this fall, the Teavana Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte.Drop the #PSL into the search bar on Instagram or Twitter, and you're guaranteed to find thousands of photos or tweets singing the praises of this iconic blend.It's a pumpkin lovers dream."If loving pumpkin spice is wrong, I don't want to be right!" says reader Amy Collins when we asked for comments on social media about the pumpkin spice craze. "Bring on the fall!"While Starbucks and its Pumpkin Spice Lattes have become the unofficial harbinger of autumn, that doesn't mean it has the corner on the flavored seasonal drink market."I absolutely love pumpkin everything," says Tiff Christman. "I especially love that Dunkin's pumpkin coffee was out a week early.""Dunkin's Pumpkin Spice Iced coffee! Mmmm so yummy," Tammy Kormann says.But it doesn't end there."When it comes to fall, I am everything pumpkin, from beer, wine, cereal, cookies, coffee you name it," says Stuart Henritzy. "If it is pumpkin, I will have it. I go that crazy that it drives my friends crazy. They want to get a shirt made for me that says I 'heart' Pumpkin."Since one of Henritzy's friends, Brad Landis, tagged him on our Facebook page and encouraged him to share his pumpkin obsession, we have to believe he isn't exaggerating.Pumpkin spice is a popular flavor, and you can find it lurking in everything from candy, such as M&Ms and Kit-Kats, to ice cream.Just this week, Edy's unveiled its take on the Starbucks classic, and even coined the same moniker: Pumpkin Spice Latte. It's coffee-flavored ice cream, swirled with pumpkin light ice cream. Pumpkin-flavored ice cream is also available from Halo and Talenti.If it's your nose that loves pumpkin spice as much as your taste buds, or instead of, you haven't been left out.Yankee Candles, a product of Newell Brands, has been making its spiced pumpkin candle since the early '90s."It has continued to be a top fragrance for decades and our customers absolutely love it!" says Megan Friedman, senior manager of public relations. "It is one of our most popular fragrances and comes in a variety of forms, including reed diffusers and a car jar, so you can take the fragrance with you when you are in motion."New to the craze is seasonal squash craze is Native Cosmetics, manufacturer of deodorant made with natural ingredients. Just recently, the San Francisco-based company began selling it's latest scent - pumpkin spice latte."While our focus is safe and effective ingredients, we also believe life is too short to not make deodorant fun!," says Moiz Ali, Native CEO and founder."Some of our team members were excited about the upcoming pumpkin spice latte drink and all things pumpkin, so we thought that would be an enjoyable scent to create! Our PSL scent is made with real pumpkin extract, just like Starbucks!"Ali says that although his company began selling the PSL deodorant on Sept. 1, the real promotion just got underway this week."The response has been incredible - people love the novelty of it and the actual scent."I hope you're reading this, Stuart Henritzy.
