In conjunction with EMS week, May 21-27, Kid Zone/Blue Mountain Health System and the Pennsylvania State Police will be performing free car seat checks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 23 at the Palmerton Ambulance Building at 501 Delaware Ave. in Palmerton.

Results from previous car seat safety checks have shown that four out of five car seats are used incorrectly.
