Mahoning Township police report

Mahoning Township Police report the following incidents:

• On Sept. 15, a resident of Mahoning Drive West reported fraudulent use of their bank account. An unidentified woman used the victim’s bank information to obtain a money order for $900 at a post office in Bethlehem.

• On Sept. 18, police investigated overnight vandalism to a cornfield in the 3000 block of Mahoning Drive West. A vehicle drove through the cornfield in two different areas.

• On Sept. 22, a burglary was reported at a residence on Beisels Road. A hot water heater and a well pressure tank were stolen.

• At 2:55 p.m. Sept. 25, police investigated a crash on Route 209 near Beaver Street that blocked traffic. The driver of the vehicle, Dennis Hartnett, 42, of Wescosville, has been cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked for DUI; speeding; and careless driving. No injuries were reported.

• At 1:23 p.m. Sept. 26, police arrested Robert Holliday, 33, in the 700 block of North First Street on a state parole warrant. During the arrest police seized brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia. Holliday was charged with prohibited offensive weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in Carbon Country Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail.
