Egg hunts

• Palmerton Easter egg hunts will be held at the Palmerton Memorial Park beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Palmerton Borough Park.

• Weissport Recreation Committee is holding an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Weissport Park. The rain date is March 25.

• The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club and the recently formed Lehighton Area Leo Club will be sponsoring a Teenage Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at the Lehighton Sixth and Coal Ball Field. The event is free and the fun will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the egg hunt at dusk. Youth are encouraged to bring their flashlights. Hot dogs and beverages will be available for purchase.

• Summit Hill: Easter on the Hill program at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ludlow Park.

• Zion United Lutheran Church, 1919 Route 209, Brodheadsville, is holding its fourth annual community easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday. Join us for an afternoon of fun with games, face painting, Easter egg hunt, prizes and pictures with the Easter Bunny. For all ages up to and including fifth grade.

• Join St. Matthew’s UCC in Kunkletown for the annual Easter egg hunt, candy toss, crafts, bounce house, and visit from the Easter Bunny from 1-2:30 p.m. March 31. Weather permitting, it will be in the St. Matthew’s UCC picnic grove (124 Picnic Lane, Kunkletown). In the event of inclement weather, it will be held at the church, 102 Church Road.
