I am writing this letter to voice my opinion on revamping the Lansford Pool.

I personally think the town could spend $500,000 in a better way, like properly marking the streets in town for emergency personnel to respond.The streets are in terrible condition with numerous potholes, especially in what they call the so-called Business District. I think it is time to show our town leaders this town is sick and tired of useless and wasteful spending.I am all for a pool if the people pushing to rebuild it can prove in writing that the pool turns a profit for the town or at least supports itself. the people on council pushing for this should remember they are elected by the people to serve the people. The town has many ordinances which need to be revised, like the snow ordinance of not parking on the south side of West Ridge Street.It's time to revise this since the work crews tend to ignore the ordinance and it is never plowed to the curb.Llewellyn SmithLansford
