The Carbon County Art League will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdayfor a presentation on "Framing Your Art - Selecting the Best Materials" given by Carla Binder of Creative Framing by Carla. The meeting will be held at The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa, 701 Bridge St., Lehighton.

Binder will discuss various framing materials and how to prepare your work for hanging. She will share tips to help you better present your art for shows without spending a lot of money. If you'd like feedback on how you've been framing your art, bring along a piece for her to see. Binder has 25 years of custom framing experience as well as a background in architectural and interior design. There will be a "Show & Tell," so bring a piece of recent work to share with the group. It can be finished, framed or not framed, or a work in progress.Meetings are free and open to the public. Bring a snack for yourself or to share. Art league memberships are available at the meeting or online for $25 per year.Registration forms are available for the 36th Annual Art Show to be held April 1-2 at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center.
