The Mahoning Police Department reported the following incidents:

• Police investigated a four-vehicle crash on Route 443 by Aldi’s at 3:14 p.m. on June 13.A westbound Kia Rio driven by Travis Reed, 32, of Mahoning Township crossed the centerline, striking a Ford F250, a Toyota Tacoma, and a Dodge Dakota. Reed and the driver of the Dakota were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Charges are pending the results of a blood test.• On May 3, police received a report of a retail theft that occurred at 4:12 p.m. May 1 at Walmart. Loss prevention reported a Kitchen Aid mixer valued at $229 had been stolen. Sueann Collotty, 39, of Lehighton was charged with retail theft. A preliminary hearing was held on June 14.• A resident on Jamestown Street reported at 12:26 p.m. May 3 that a woman she did not know forced her way into the home. Police found Melissa Primer, 43, of Lehighton inside the home. She was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and criminal trespass. Primer was placed in Carbon County prison in lieu of $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was held on May 24.• Kyle Schoenberger, 24, (no current address) was arrested on a Carbon County bench warrant on March 28, when police stopped a vehicle with a burned-out headlight. During the arrest, police seized methamphetamine and charged Schoenberger with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing was held on May 24.• Police investigated a drug overdose on April 26, in the Nis Hollow Trailer Park. Police later determined one of the people had provided a false identity to officers. Tanya Piccolo, 27, of Palmerton had a warrant for her arrest in Monroe County at the time of the incident. She was located in Weissport the next day and placed in Carbon County Prison on the warrant. She was charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities. A preliminary hearing was held on May 10.
