A West Penn Township man has been charged for his role in a crash that occurred earlier this year in Mahoning Township.

At 12:09 a.m. March 20, Mahoning police investigated a single-vehicle crash on Twin Crest Drive in which a Ford F350 failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, striking trees and bushes.The driver, David Zeigler, 46, Andreas, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving vehicle at an unsafe speedand careless driving.A preliminary hearing was held on May 31.
