Franklin Township Maroon and Anthracite Gray picked up wins in the Panther Valley Little League Tournament.

PVLL TOURNAMENTFT Maroon-Tri CountyFranklin Township Maroon rolled to an 18-1 victory over Tri County, avenging a previous loss by the same score in the District 18 Tournament.Josh Steigerwalt (home run, three RBIs) and Austin Greene (two RBIs) had three hits apiece for Franklin. Ian Rarick (home run, four RBIs), Aiden Rarick (three RBIs) and Brady O'Donnell added two hits apiece.Franklin Maroon (8-1) and Tri County (6-1) are tied atop the standings. Franklin has played all of its games, while Tri County has Lansford and Jim Thorpe Blue remaining. If Tri County wins out, there will be a championship game played on Saturday morning. A loss by Tri County would gave Franklin the title.Anthracite Gray-Anthracite WhiteAnthracite Gray pounded out 15 hits, including doubles by Hayden Goida and Trey McAndrew, en route to a 11-0 win over Anthracite White.Michael Pascoe hit a three-run home run, and Aiden Rohrbach had a solo shot.Alex Woodward and Joey Shelton had hits for Anthracite White.
