Interstate 80 West Bound is closed between White Haven (Exit 273) and Mountain Top (Exit 262) because of a multi-vehicle crash in a construction area.

The crash occurred at 9:25 a.m. As of noon, police said the roadway is expected to remain closed for an additional two to four hours while troopers reconstruct the crash and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation repairs the roadway.

All westbound traffic is being directed off the interstate at White Haven and onto Route 940 West to Route 309 north and back to Interstate 80 in Drums.

Police said they would release more information on the crash later today.
