One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash along Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.

The crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. in front of 401 Delaware Avenue involving three vehicles.

The driver of a Toyota pickup truck failed to see the vehicles stopped in front of him in the west bound lanes.

He struck the first vehicle sending it into a third stopped vehicle, a mail carrier.

Fire police shut down the roadway as Palmerton police investigated the incident.
