Several defendants entered guilty pleas in the county court before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

Bryan Paul Braker, 22, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on March 22, 2015, by state police at Lehighton along Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township. A test revealed a 0.10 BAC.

Sentencing was deferred so Braker can obtain a comprehensive drug and alcohol evaluation.

Nathan Allen Eckhart, 33, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on Nov. 20, 2015, by Palmerton police.

He was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Danielle Elizabeth Jafraty, 20, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count of possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested on Aug. 29, 2016, by state police at Lehighton.

She was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and zero tolerance imposed on drug and alcohol use.

Ryan Allen Kokolus, 19, of Bethlehem, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on Feb. 2, 2016, by Beltzville State Park rangers in the area of Lot “C.”

He was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Jesus Manuel Nadal-Suzrez, 25, of Catasauqua, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on Sept. 25, 2015, along Route 248 in Franklin Township by state police at Lehighton. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

He was sentenced to serve 90 days to five years in the county jail, pay a fine of $1,500, and his license was suspended for 18 months. He was given credit for 161 days already served and the sentence runs concurrent with a DUI term he is serving in Lehigh County.

Nancy Ann Nagy-Rotohdaro, 52, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. She was arrested on June 7, 2016, along Seventh Street by Lehighton police. A test revealed a 0.24 BAC.

She was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300.

Daniel Robert Russo, 24, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count of possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on Sept. 4, 2016, in the area of 425 Center St., by Jim Thorpe police.

He was placed on probation for a year and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Harold Al Sanchez Munoz, 29, of West Hazleton, pleased to one count of DUI. He was arrested on June 14, 2015, by state police at Lehighton. No test results were available.

Sentencing was deferred so Munoz can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Richard Thomas Sliwinski, 43, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia with a count of possession with intent to deliver dropped. He was arrested on Aug. 15, 2016, in the area of 117 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, by agents of the state Attorney General’s office and county drug task force members.

He was sentenced to time served (16 days) to one year in jail with zero tolerance imposed on drug and alcohol use.

Jeremy Ryan Smith, 39, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on Nov. 21, 2015, by state police at Lehighton along Route 248 in Franklin Township. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

Sentencing was deferred so he can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Barbara Ann Flaherty, 56, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. She was arrested on Aug. 8, 2016, in the area of 117 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, by state police at Lehighton. A test revealed a 0.24 BAC.

She was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300.

Jarrad Joseph Marsh, 27, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on Sept. 8, 2016, along Route 248 by Palmerton police following a traffic stop.

He was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use. The term runs concurrent with a sentence he is serving in Northampton County.

Andrew Lee Moll, 25, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count each of DUI and recklessly endangering another person. He was arrested on Nov. 12, 2016, by state police at Lehighton along Fireline Road in Franklin Township. He was originally charged with 15 counts, including 11 motor vehicle code violations.

On the DUI charge he was sentenced to serve 90 days to five years in prison, pay a fine of $3,000 and his license was suspended for 18 months. On the endangering count he was sentenced to serve six to one day less 24 months in prison, concurrent with the DUI charge. He was also ordered to get a mental health evaluation and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Moll, an inmate in the county prison on the charges, was given credit for 36 days.

He also pleaded to another DUI count for an incident on March 15, 2016, filed by Jim Thorpe police in which a controlled substance was found in his system. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of 90 days to five years, $1,500 fine and another 18 months license suspension.

Larry Scott Nagy, 38, of Bethlehem, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on Sept. 23, 2015, by Franklin Township police along Canal Road. A test revealed a 0.16 BAC.

He was sentenced to serve 75 days to six months in jail, a fine of $2,500, and one-year license suspension.

Michael Keith Strohl, 39, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on Jan. 29, 2016, by state police at Lehighton police along Route 248 in Franklin Township. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

Sentencing was deferred as the court ordered a presentence investigation report be prepared by the adult probation office and Strohl can apply for placement in the IPP.

Ronald Lee Strohl II, 43, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of DUI. He was arrested on July 16, 2016, along First Street by Lehighton police. A test revealed a 0.20 BAC.

Sentencing was deferred so he can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Justine A. Taylor,26, of Pen Argyl, pleaded to one count of possession of an offensive weapon — brass knuckles. He was arrested by Palmerton police in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue on May 21, 2016.

Sentencing was deferred.

Each defendant sentenced must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
