Margaret Dolena, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community, Weatherly, and formerly of Nesquehoning, is celebrating her 92nd birthday on Feb. 20.

Margaret was born Feb. 20, 1925, to Michael and Margaret York of Nesquehoning. She was the wife of Metro Dolena, formerly of Coaldale. She has four children, Michael of Nesquehoning, Nancy Porambo of Jim Thorpe, Christopher of Chesapeake, Virginia, and the late Joan Marie.Upon graduation from high school, Margaret worked in Washington, D.C., as a civilian employee for the Navy Department. After marrying, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Cassie's Sportswear in Nesquehoning and worked as a part-time clerk for the U.S. Postal Service.Margaret enjoyed baking and gardening. She is a devout Catholic and enjoys playing bingo at Heritage Hill.
