One person was injured Friday afternoon in a crash along Route 209 in Franklin township. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes when a car was struck in the rear at intersection with Maple Avenue. One person in the car was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to an area hospital. Police were examining a truck owned by Lock and Load of the Lehighton area sitting at the scene. Franklin township fire company responded to the scene.
