Tamaqua police

Tamaqua police released information on several recent cases.

• Erica M. Hall, 48, of Tamaqua, was cited for passing a bad check. Hall wrote a check for $388 to Tom Reigel Plumbing and Heating Service LLC on Oct. 26, 2018. The check was returned marked not sufficient funds. Hall told police it was a misunderstanding but then failed to make payment.

A certified letter was sent on Dec. 28, 2018.

• Christopher J. Serina, 38, of Tamaqua, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found three syringes and a bag of pills on him when taking him into custody on an arrest warrant. Serina was picked up at 3 p.m. on Jan. 21.

• Michael C. Cannuli, 42, of Coaldale, was cited for driving with a suspended license and for not having insurance after a traffic stop at 9:35 a.m. on Jan. 26. A records check found an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a burglary case from Butler County.

He was transported to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsvile.
