Thefts, other incidents investigated

Three theft and other incidents were investigated recently by state police at Fern Ridge.

•A 50-year-old ofresident of Effort Village Drive in Effort,Monroe County, reported someone stole a 2001 Polaris Trailblazer all-terrain vehicle valued at $500, from a shed on his property. The theft occurred sometime between July 25-27.•A 43-year-old resident ofStephanie Way, Jackson Township, Monroe County, reported two bicycles were stolen from the driveway of his property. The bikes are valued at $100. The theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m. July 28 and 11 a.m. July 29.• A 44-year-old man from Jackson Township reported various video games and a 40-caliber handgun were stolen from his apartmenton Route 725, sometime between July 20 and 22.• An 80-year-old man from Bartonville Woods Road in Jackson Township reported someone vandalized the mailbox located in front of his home. The incident was reported on July 22.• A 48-year-old man form Allegheny Drive in Blakeslee, Chestnuthill Township, reported his mailbox was vandalized sometime on June 27.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
