Tamaqua police have issued a BOLO for a gold Hyundai Elantra bearing Florida license plate TIMYSUE.

The car was last seen at 5:21 p.m. on July 19 when it was driven away by Timothy Manuel Torres, 31, of North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua.Torres had been involved in an argument that day that ended with an assault. The victim said she and Torres had been arguing about the electric bill when he grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head against a wall. When she called police, he took her phone and fled in the car.He faces charges of simple assault, making terroristic threats, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, harassment, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and failure to notify of a change of address.Anyone with information on Torres or the car may contact police at 570-668-5000.
