State police at Lehighton are investigating a deceptive or fraudulent business practices incident.

Troopers said two victims, a 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, from Allentown, came to the barracks July 17 to report that they entered into a contract with Crown Food Cart Inc., 869 Interchange Road, Kresgeville, Monroe County, for a food trailer to be built. That occurred around April 11.After receiving a notification to pick up the trailer, the victims traveled to the business location to find the business was no longer there.The suspects listed in the police report are a 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both of Kunkletown.The investigation is continuing, troopers said.
