The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance Procurement Technical Assistance Center announced its keynote speakers for the NEPA Alliance PTAC Government Contracting Showcase. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, 700 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton.

Rep. Lou Barletta, District 11, will be the luncheon keynote speaker, while Michael Atchie, manager of Public Outreach for the Williams Co., will serve as the opening keynote speaker.The Williams Co. is involved with the Atlantic Sunrise Project, which is the expansion of the Transco natural gas transmission pipeline. The pipeline is expected to supply natural gas from northeast Pennsylvania to markets in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states.Barletta serves on three House committees: the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where he serves as the chairman of the Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management Subcommittee; the Homeland Security Committee, where he serves on the Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee; and the Committee on Education and the Workforce.Registrationincludes continental breakfast, lunch and workshops.
