Pocono Greyhound Adoption with be hosting the Greyt Hound Hustle 5k Run/Walk and Dog Walk on June 10 at Tuscarora State Park. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 5k starts at 10 a.m.

There will be awards for the top three overall male and female and for age group winners. Preregistration before May 27 is $20 and includes a T-shirt. Registration after May 27 is $25.The walking of any breeds of dogs on the course is encouraged. This is a unique course with moderate hills that meanders through the woods, around a field and past a lake.Pocono Greyhound Adoption's mission is to provide education to the public about retired racing greyhounds. It also raises funds in order to care for and place retired greyhounds in their forever homes. Volunteers and their greyhounds will be available to meet and greet and answer questions about greyhound adoption. Foster greyhounds will be there to meet potential adopters.Participants can register online at
