State police at Lehighton are investigating an access device fraud case.
The incident dates back to November of last year and identity theft purchases were made through July of this year totaling $1,649, police said.Someone used the victim's name and address to open a Capital One L & T credit card without the victim's permission, making the purchases through a nine-month period without making a payment on the account.
