The 46th annual Lehighton Area Halloween Parade will be held at 4

p.m.Oct. 15. The rain date is 2

p.m.Oct. 16.As in other years, the parade will begin at Ninth and Coal streets, according to Julie Harris of the Lehighton Area Halloween Committee.The parade will make its way down to the Third Street intersection before turning south toward Mahoning Street and returning to Eighth Street, where it will disband at the Grove.Judges have not been finalized for the parade, which will be televised on Blue Ridge Cable TV-13."Our street announcers will be Brian Hoffner and Duane Dellecker," Harris said.A grand marshal has yet to be announced, but Harris said it would likely involve the local police department and possibly several others.The parade is run totally on donations.To contribute, send donations to: Lehighton Area Halloween Parade Committee, P.O.
