The Carbon County Animal Rescue Team will host its Hogs & Horses Fall Scavenger Hunt Ride starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 1 at the Boatyard Bar and Grill. The event will help Carbon CART raise funds for large animal equipment.

Carbon CART is asking for a donation of toys for the Carbon Veterans Children for Christmas. Those who donate will receive $5 off the rider's fee. Regular fees are $25 for riders, $15 for passengers and $10 for walking.CPR Road Tour will be doing demonstrations of CPR and first aid for pets. Carbon CART also does events to raise money to buy pet oxygen masks for local fire departments. They are working with Local Ambulance Corp to supply these kits to fire departments.The Hogs & Horses Ride brings awareness to Carbon CART, which is a volunteer organization.
