Jillian Marie Castaldi and Shawn Patrick McArdle were united in marriage May 28, 2016, at Divine Mercy Parish in Scranton. The Rev. Francis Pauselli officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Renee Castaldi of Scranton. Given in marriage by her father, she chose Sarah Castaldi as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Gina McArdle, Jennifer Cory Amanda Botscheller, Maria Kidron and Molly McDonough.The bridegroom is the son of John and Del Rey McArdle of Nesquehoning. He chose Brenden McArdle to perform the duties of best man. Ushers included Martin Castaldi Jr., Michael Castaldi, Joseph Trimmel III, Matthew Klassner and Zach Orsulak.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at Via Appia in Taylor.The new Mrs. McArdle has a bachelor’s of science in nursing from Misericordia University. She is currently fulfilling a degree in family nurse practitioner at the University of Scranton.Mr. McArdle holds a bachelor’s of science in psychology from Misericordia.The newlyweds currently live in Summit Hill.
