A Monroe County driver is facing charges following an incident on Friday.

No time was listed on the police report.State police at Fern Ridge said John William Tutko, 52, of Kunkletown was stopped along Hickory Lane in Chestnuthill Township.At the stop Tutko assaulted troopers while being taken into custody for driving under the influence.He was charged with DUI, aggravated assault on law enforcement officers, resisting arrest and other related offenses.He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
