A Luzerne County driver was jailed after a vehicle stop along Interstate 80 in East Side borough, Carbon County, and is facing drug charges.

State police at Fern Ridge said Adrian Vega Caba, 25, of 438 W. Poplar St., Hazleton, was stopped at 1:22 p.m. Nov. 4 for several traffic violations. At the stop troopers observed multiple indicators of criminal activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted and police found about three pounds of marijuana.A check also revealed that Caba was wanted out of Luzerne County on a warrant for a driving under the influence charge.He was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and related drug offenses. He was placed in the Carbon County prison in Nesquehoning on the outstanding warrant and drug charges.
