Carbon officials approve summer hires

Carbon County's summer programs are getting ready to begin.

On Thursday, the commissioners approved a number of hires associated with the Liquid Fuels Summer Program and Mauch Chunk Lake Park.Both programs hire students for the summer to do a variety of tasks throughout the county.Liquid Fuels Summer Program• Jesse J.
