JT track team wins division title

The Jim Thorpe boys track team claimed the Schuylkill League Division 1 championship by cruising past Pottsville.

The Olympians, behind four firsts from Rayan Green, earned a 96-54 victory to finish division action with a perfect 6-0 record.In other action, Nick Kubishin pitched a no-hitter to lead Marian to a win in baseball.TRACKJim Thorpe-PottsvilleJim Thorpe swept Pottsville in a Schuylkill League meet.The Olympian boys gained a 96-54 victory to capture the Division 1 championship.It marked the second straight season that Frank Miller's team has won the title.Rayan Green won four events for Jim Thorpe (6-0). He was victorious in the triple jump, long jump, high jump, and 200. Shawn O'Toole and Joe Schwartz also added a pair of wins.
